Logline:
A complex man, faces staggering cruelty in mid-20th century concentration camps including the loss of his lover, yet survives until the millennium to complete his life’s work.

Synopsis:
Anthony, a gay man and a Mischling lives through most of the twentieth century and on the advice of his great aunt Miriam, watches for and experiences great shifts in his life every seven years, a kind of cellular rebirth. These cycles happen to coincide with major queer events both positive and negative including the exposition of Otto Dix’s The Trench, the exhilarating Weimar Republic, a Nazi Degenerate Art exhibition, the horror of the concentration camps and the loss of his lover there, Anthony’s liberation and new life in America and the trials and tribulations of gay life in London from the 1950s to the 1980s.
