Synopsis:
In 1933, in a climate of terror in Berlin, a deeply closeted gay man leaves his irate wife and undertakes a train journey with his lover across country to Calais and on to England. They meet a strange Englishman who himself seems to be being shadowed by shady characters and form an allegiance of sorts, even ending up staying at the same hotel.
The gay man’s paranoia is reactivated a large group of young SS arrive for their annual celebration. These men are interested in the man’s beautiful and androgynous lover, and he tries hard to deflect their invitation. During the night he sees blood coming from under the door of the next room, where the English man is staying and almost dies of terror believing himself to be next… But is he?
